Blogging has come to be recognized as a Money-making venture with so many people both young and old venturing into it for different purposes.
If you are using a Blogspot Blog, after your site Becomes Popular, you might want to move to your own Cusom domain, e.g from myblog.blogspot.com to www.myblog.com so your address is more memorable and also to add more prestige to your Blogging Business.
Doing this is not difficult and following the Pictorial Guide Below, you can change your Blogger Blog to a Custom domain in less than an Hour.
First of all you need to Get a Domain name, you can buy one from www.cluewebhost.com/clients/domainchecker.php and pay online for immediate activation.
After your domain is activated,
Login to your Blogger account and Click on the Blog Name You Want to Convert
At the Left Hand Side, Click on the Settings Tab and click Basic
click on Add a custom domain button under Blog Address field in Publishingsection:
This would bring up a space to type in your domain name. Enter the domain name and click Save button
Note: blogs are not to be placed on bare domains (like yourdomain.com), so you need to add a subdomain when filling this, ie, the www.yourdomain.com or blog.yourdomain.com
Once the page refreshes, it brings out two CNAME records which should be created in your domain’s Zone File
Login to your Account on Clue WebHost at www.cluewebhost.com/clients
Hover over domains and click on mydomains
At the Right side of the Domain name you want to use, Click on the Manage Domain Arrow, Click on Manage domain
At the Top Right Under Management Tools, Click on Manage DNS
It would bring up the DNS Management Page where you can put in your CName records
Enter the records as shown below and save
That’s all
If you now enter www.yourblog.com, you would be able to access your blog without any issues!
